Thai Airways is the national carrier of Thailand, operating domestic, regional and intercontinental flights from it home base in Bangkok. The airline’s network covers over 70 destinations in more than 30 countries. During its 40 years it has earned a reputation for offering high standard products and customer service. The A380 is planned to be included in their fleet in 2010.

First Class
The first class seat provides customers with a 180 degree of recline, converting into a bed. One of the features of these seats is the legroom, which following the removal of 4 seats, provides almost 7 feet of space to stretch out. The 10 Royal First Class seats have a 76” pitch, are 21.84” wide and lie flat. Each seat is equipped with LCD screens, telephone and computer access.

Business Class
Entitled Royal Silk Class, seats have a 167 degree of recline and an increased seat pitch of 60” due to the removal of ten seats in the cabin, plus a personal telephone and AC outlet for a laptop. Seats are 2 abreast with an adjustable screen for privacy. Seat width is 20”.

Economy Class
Thai Airways has carried out a programme to expand and revitalize its economy class. Wider seats of the latest design have been installed in many of Thai aircraft, with a new interactive Audio Visual On Demand (AVOD) system offering a larger choice of entertainment and information options. The Royal Orchid Class (economy) passengers have seats with a 34” seat pitch, seat width of 15.63-17.32” and a recline of 122 degrees.

Cuisine
A range of cuisine is available in all classes. The selection and presentation is dependent on the level of grade selected.
